2. The Fiori Content Service for AL_ACS can be used within your Fiori App, or set-up as a ribbon or sidebar service. It also includes the ability to support advanced search for documents based on their meta data tags.

Our SF_CCS solution is an extension to AL_ACS that adds a SuccessFactors DCM API Interface alongside the ArchiveLink Content Service. The result is a single unified content repository that holds documents from both systems. Typically, this may be a requirement when users in  both the ERP and HXM systems need access to employee files in support of their respective business activities tied to employee records, such as payroll, EH&S, CATS, HCM, etc.

Neither SAP S/4 HANA nor ECC include a complete solution set to support all the potential business drivers for  a comprehensive ECM that includes a content processing platform also. Additionally, moving a S4/HANA or ECC system to the cloud presents challenges if enterprises want to take their content along also.

There are many different facets and considerations to understand, such as, not all content service functions in the core ERP are available to SAP BTP and Fiori, for instance. S/4 HANA memory is expensive yet the default function for saving attachments is to store them there.
